Gold Label HydroCoco is a ready to use hydroponic substrate, although aimed at Flood & Drain systems, HydroCoco can also be used in other pot based hydroponic set ups such as drippers.

Gold Label Hydrocorn and Coco is an ideal match for high water capacity, lower watering frequency and better rooting. We utilize the 8-16mm Hydrocorn from Gold Label and the purest Gold Label Coco to give you the perfect ebb and flood growing substrate that also works well in any pot based systems. The 80/20 mix allows you to feed less frequently than in straight Hydrocorn but more frequently than 80/20. This gives you a buffer on the watering times but still allows you to feed regularly without over watering.

Featuring 80% of Gold Label’s own 8-16mm Hydrocorn (clay pebbles) along with 20% of the purest Gold Label Coco fibers means that water retention is greater, compared to using clay pebbles on their own, and that the frequency of required feeding times is dramatically reduced.

Due to the 80/20 mix, HydroCoco is an airy substrate that doesn’t restrict the roots, allowing them to grow and develop, it’s also a difficult medium to oversaturate and with it being inert, it allows you, the grower, to feed the plants what they need, rather than what’s available in the grow medium.
