It's exciting times at our Burnley store as the Thai Chilli plant Michael and the team are growing is on the final countdown as the first crop draws ever closer.

The chilli's are nearly ripe enough to harvest as the initial green colour has turned to a vivid bright red, and although we're getting twitchy with the scissors, taste is as important as looks. That's why before getting cut from the plant,  they've now began the flush phase to break down any unwanted residues and salts to improve taste and aroma. As we've been using the entire VitaLink range, the feed chart recommends using just water, so that's what they're getting, which we'll continue for around a week.

That's it for this update, except to say she's still in an NFT Hydro System under a MaxiBright 315w CDM, next week we should have a harvest to show you, but for now, here's a photo round up from week #14...
