LUMii Digital Dimmable 600w Ballast
LUMII DIGITAL DIMMABLE 600W BALLAST
The LUMii Digita Ballast is a digital ballast that offers brilliant quality whilst still being within budget. This ballast runs a range of different HID lamps, allowing you to choose the optimal lamp for your set-up with the four different output settings - 250w, 400w, 600w and 600w Boost. The LUMii Digita works with both high pressure sodium (HPS) lamps and metal halide (MH) lamps.
Digital ballasts produce a higher lumen output compared to traditional magnetic ballasts, giving better light whilst still using less electricity. Working at a higher frequency than a standard magnetic ballast, it means more light can get to your plants whilst still being efficient to run.
The LUMii Digital is an efficient ballast at all angles. The built in power management software monitors lamp degradation and power fluctuation, giving a more stable quality of light.
When in use, your plants receive the full spectrum light within 5 minutes – very quick to ignite compared to magnetic ballast technology, which can take up to 20 minutes to reach full lamp brightness. If abnormal input or output is detected, the safety features ensure that the lamp is not ignited preventing any problems or incidents in your grow room.
- Fast lamp ignition
- Quiet running
- Drives two different HID lamps
- Compatible with metal halide (MH) and high pressure sodium (HPS)
Digital ballasts do not degrade over time, so will not produce less lumens over time or use more electricity and become noisy.
DIRECTIONS OF USE:
Always use MH lamps at their intended output without adding any boost. Locate the LUMii Digita on a flat, firm surface in a well-ventilated space. Do not cover the ballast.
- Run 400w HPS at 400w or 400w boost
- Run 600w HPS at 400w, 400w boost, 600w or 600w boost
- Run 400w metal halide at 400w
- Run 600w metal halide at 600w
Connections on the ballast include a female IEC socket on one side with a male IEC connection on the other. The female IEC connects to the 2.0m power lead whilst the male IEC is used to connect to your reflector cable and to drive the lamp.
